Jessica is a 4th year Kinesiology student at the University of British Columbia. She will be working at Optimal Performance Clinic as a chiropractic & active release technique assistant and receptionist until December 2019. Her passion for health and fitness has led her to the field of rehabilitation and continues to drive her towards a career in physical therapy. Ultimately, Jessica hopes to help people achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life not only by treating pain and injuries, but also by promoting mobility, physical activity, and overall health and wellness. Jessica is also a volunteer for Vancouver Coastal Health physiotherapy programs where she leads balance/exercise classes for patients with cognitive and physical disabilities. In addition, she has volunteered at a physiotherapy clinic where she assisted with the treatment of patients with neurological conditions. Jessica was a competitive dancer and now loves to stay active by hiking and taking circuit training, spinning, boxing, dance, and yoga classes.
